We exist so rights are known and acted upon, and communities are fairer.

A new approach

"ARC Justice’s inaugural Impact Report embodies our commitment to transparent, measurable reporting of impact for our communities. It builds on our legacy of sustained community advocacy and service."

"This report, with a new impact framework at its foundation, represents the first step in our journey to better define, measure and share the meaningful change we deliver across rural and regional Victoria. It drives accountability and directs our energies where they are needed most."

Our impact

ARC Justice provides people-centred services, education, engagement and advocacy. We work at an individual, community and policy level to create fairer access to justice.

We are focused on breaking the spiral of injustice.

Our strategy informs each of our four impact domains, ensuring our strategic efforts and actions are aligned with nine key outcomes that we measure and report against. A summary of the program logic underpinning our impact framework is available here.

How to use this report

The report is structured by our four impact domains. The buttons are coloured by domain and, wherever you are in the report, pressing them will take you back to that domain area.

In each section, also look out for buttons that reveal case studies and other useful content.

Acknowledgement of traditional ownership

ARC Justice acknowledges that First Nations people are the traditional and ongoing custodians of the lands we work on. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and honour the strength, resilience and deep cultural connection Aboriginal Peoples have to Country.

We recognise that Aboriginal sovereignty was never ceded and that the impacts of colonisation continue today. We are committed to learning from and working with Aboriginal communities to support justice, equality and self-determination. We know we won’t always get it right, but we are listening, learning and open to feedback.
